Omnibus - Quentin Tarantino: Tape 11 (Archive title)
Date: 1994 (Production)

Country: United Kingdom

Synopsis: Production footage for the OMNIBUS programme on Quentin Tarantino (tx. 25.10.94) of Tarantino being interviewed. ...continued from TAPE 10. Tarantino gave up his idea of writing a book on film-making. He talks about his early career as an actor and how he lied on his resumé, making up parts that he had played, including a role in Godard's KING LEAR (1987). He talks about his subsequent job at Video Archives, where he had many discussions on films, and enjoyed his experience of recommending titles to customers. This also led him to sympathise with the experience of film critics. Tarantino talks about the strong beliefs of "movie geeks", such as himself, in their own opinions, unlike most people in Hollywood who want to be told what is good. Continued on TAPE 12.
